This was such a great night for Francis Clay--such a wonderful kind hearted man he was (RIP). Myron Mu who is the center of attention in this picture is another amazing human being. I've said it before and I'll say it again, there are only a hanfdull of humans I would, call in deep trouble and Myron is one of them. Why? Because he is a great human being. I have known Myron since 1987, and he continues to astound me with his personal generosity towards musicians. And his integrity. It is primarily his rock solid club, The Saloon, which has made San Francisco a blues town., His bar is the oldest in the city and has survived countless disasters. Janis Joplin, John Lee Hooker, and countless other stars have played there. The sound system in The Saloon has always been great and if the walls could, talk, well, .... People come from all over the world to explore the soul of this old bar--and soul in music which somehow we all can really feel inside its walls. I have done my finest performances in The Saloon because the place is magic!
