Johnny Ace was living in a $9.00 a week hotel in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He used to eat breakfast, lunch and supper in an old lady's restuarant around the corner from the hotel(where salt was forbiden)! One cold and boring night, Walter Shufflesworth came over to visit Johnny at the restuarant, wearing a 1920's full-length Racoon and a Mexican hat. you could hear the old lady's false teeth falling in their pea soup when he walked through the restuarnt door. After Walter ate half of Ace's cuisine, they went over to Ace's' room where he got out his turban--and the rest is history! Somehow, as they attacked the town in their garb, a photo booth was found. Another day in the life of two blues journeyman!
