In NYC, "Pops" of the wonderful Holmes Brothers would often sit in and sing with Ace's band Full House which at that time included Brian Bassesi on guitar (Ace's cousin), Ola Mae Dixon on drums and Johnny Ace on vocals and bass! RIDE!
