Lonnie Showtime, Greg Douglas, Cathy Lemons, Geno Scaggs at The Saloon in 1986
Geno Scaggs was one of my favorite bass players for blues out here! He played with the great Jimmie Reed for years--and he's even on his records. Geno was a beautiful person--such a sweet person. In 1989 he died from throat cancer. Lisa Kindred and Geno were a great team and a great couple. They started the whole blues scene in North beach--especially at The Saloon!
